Lifestyle and Men's Health

Lifestyle and Men’s Health

For most of the conditions that we are treating, lifestyle plays a very important role. In fact, common risk factors for conditions such as ED, Peyronie’s, penis size, sub-fertility and hypogonadism include:

  • Poor diet

  • Smoking

  • Sedentary lifestyle

  • Excessive drinking

  • Stress

Improving a man’s lifestyle, will not only prevent these ailments from developing in the first place, but can in many cases reverse or at least improve the damage caused already.

All men visiting our clinic are consulted extensively on their lifestyle and as part of their treatment protocols, we will help them improve their risk factors. In addition to the lifestyle evaluation we offer, we will also screen men for cardio-vascular, metabolic syndrome and diabetes risk as part of our routine examination.

We believe that this holistic approach to men’s health can improve significantly the quality of life of our patients and lead to a virtuous cycle where better lifestyle leads to improvements of specific health issues, which in turn encourages men to fully adopt a healthy way of living. For this reason, we offer in-house, the following services:

  • Dietary and exercise counselling

  • Smoking cessation counselling

  • Psycho-sexual counselling and stress-management

  • Primary care management of cardio-vascular health, metabolic syndrome and diabetes

    Stress management counselling
