Kegel exercise improves Premature Ejaculation and Erectile Dysfunction

Study suggests there might be a natural remedy for erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation

Most men are ambitious about their performance in sex and that they do their best to please their partner. If you are a man that cares about your own and your partner’s satisfaction, you will probably have already heard about the so-called Kegel’s exercises. If not, read this and boost your lasting time and your erection with this easy exercise set.

Dr Arnold Kegel introduced his programme of pelvic floor muscle exercises in 1948. Since then, it has been in use by both men and women with proven results to their sexual life and beyond that. Kegel’s programme not only improves the urinary incontinence, bowel and bladder control but also contributes greatly in sexual problems such as anorgasmy, a particularly usual sexual problem of women. As for men the health benefits include treating prostate pain, prostatitis, premature ejaculation, and erectile dysfunction. In the case you don’t have one of the above problems you can still use these exercises to boost your erectile function and improve your sexual performance.

The exercises target the muscles of the “pelvic floor” which are medically termed as pubococcygeus. Both men and women have these muscles, which provide support to pelvic organs such as the urethra, bladder, and bowel. The aim of Kegel exercises is to improve muscle tone by strengthening these muscles and help the organs function better.

A new study, conducted by The Erectile Dysfunction Foundation and the Private Gym for Men in USA, tested Kegel’s exercise to men with no sexual dysfunction problems as well as men with mild erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and decreased sexual performance. Nearly 6 out of 10 participants, aged from 24 to 65 years-old, had erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation symptoms.

The four-month clinical trial reported optimistic messages. Based on the participants’ own views, the following results were witnessed:

  • 75% of men experienced improved erectile rigidity and strength
  • 90% of men experienced heightened orgasm intensity
  • 40% of men improved their ejaculatory control
  • 75% of men experienced improved ejaculatory force
  • 90% of men improved their confidence in sexual performance
  • 60% of men experienced increased sexual pleasure

It is clear that further investigation is required so as to confirm these findings, but it is undoubtedly encouraging that natural and inexpensive treatments such as these can help men suffering from erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation.
