Male balding drug linked to erectile dysfunction

How big price men have to pay just to save their hairline? Men from all over the world are usually coping with male pattern baldness using a drug called finasteride.

There are claims however, that one percent of men taking finasteride will suffer post-finasteride syndrome, PFS, which usually has an effect on their sexuality.

Today, the US National Institute of health has added  PFS to its Genetic and Rare Diseases Information Centre.

This comes at a time that a review in the Journal of the American Medical Association has showed that on the 34 medical tests and clinical trials conducted on finasteride, probably none sufficiently reported side-effects on men’s sexuality

A different brand new study of Hormone Molecular Biology and Clinical Investigation showed that Finasteride increased the severity of erectile dysfunction and reduced androgenic hormone and testosterone amounts in men with benignly enlarged prostates.
